We are so excited to release our 2018 vintage for MFN wines! Please find notes on the new releases below.

Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2018 vintage of My Favorite Neighbor is a crowd pleaser.  We think Jeb Dunnuck said it best with his tasting notes: "The 2018 My Favorite Neighbor is a step up, offering a more complex, elegant style in its crème de cassis, black raspberries, toasted spice, crushed flowers, and graphite aromas and flavors. Deep, full-bodied, and incredibly textured on the palate, with silky tannins, it has no hard edges, a deep, opulent style, and a huge finish. It's going to compete with just about anything coming out of Napa today."

Red Blend

The 2017 vintage of Harvey + Harriet quickly became a fan favorite, and at a new price-point and how beautifully the 2018 vintage is already drinking... we believe that every wine-lover needs a case of this in their fridge! This wine is meant to be your every-day drinker. It is perfect to open on a Tuesday night with take out food, bring over to your neighbor's house to share at a summer potluck, or open a bottle (guilt-free) to enjoy just one glass while cooking dinner for your family. To quote critic Jeb Dunnuck, the 2018 vintage "sports a deep purple color as well as a powerful bouquet of ripe black fruits, tobacco leaf, smoked earth, dark chocolate, and Asian spice".

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Cabernet Franc
Located just west of Highway 101 south of Paso Robles, the Gateway Vineyard is a young but rising star in the Paso Cab scene. Equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this 2018 beauty boasts showy red fruit aromas, dense black fruit richness, and generously silky structured tannins all while maintaining the varietal identity of both components. Enjoy this wine knowing that it is just the beginning of this vineyard’s very bright future.

85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Malbec
Situated in the northerly Adelaida district of Paso Robles’ West Side, this breathtaking vineyard planted and cared for by David Parrish sees its fair share of summer sun. With David’s meticulous farming and utilization of shade cloth, that bright hot sunlight is converted into downright stunning midpalate density on this 2018 Cab Sauvignon. Marked by balance and richness, this wine also has great acidity backing up the intensity of flavor, ending with a long and thoughtful finish.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Perched near the heart of iconic Vineyard Drive, the Denner property sits in a very unique mesoclimate. Benefiting from the significant afternoon cooling effect that the Templeton Gap brings, this Vineyard ripens Cab very slowly resulting in complex fruit flavors and rich, tingly acidity. One of our last vineyards to be picked in 2018, this perky gem of a Cab shows incredibly juicy and ripe red fruits on both the nose and the palate.
