We’re excited to help you kick off the summer season with this all-new allocation from My Favorite Neighbor. From the porch to the dinner table to the backyard, this allocation has you—and your neighborhood—ready for the moment. In addition to our newly released rosé, this allocation features the first wave of inky reds from the 2022 vintage, including two limited standouts from our single-vineyard program. The 2022 harvest was marked by an early heat wave that kept us on our toes, but we practiced patience and happily prevailed. The resulting wines are plush, layered and approachable, with the beautiful structure that we always demand from our wines. Enjoy them all summer long and beyond!
MFN Rose comes from our favorite Paso Robles winegrowers who share a likeminded commitment to sustainable farming. The standout 2023 vintage is a blend of Syrah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon—a distinctive combination that delivers brilliant saturation with freshness and acidity. This wine opens with captivating aromas of rose petal, orange peel and strawberry. Lively impressions of cherry and stone fruits dance across the palate, cascading into an elegant finish. A vivid and flavorful rosé that will keep your friends and neighbors coming back for more.
Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2022 My Favorite Neighbor is everything you’ve come to expect from our flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from our favorite Paso Robles growers who lend their neighborly spirit to the wine. Effusive aromas of raspberry and currant reveal notes of blue fruit and purple flower. On the palate, juicy red fruits are interwoven with hints of black cherry, cinnamon and toasted oak. Structured tannins carry into a long, chewy finish. Whether it’s a casual backyard barbecue or a fine celebratory meal, this versatile wine has you covered for summer and beyond.
Cabernet Sauvignon (62%) and Petit Verdot (38%)
Denner Vineyard probably needs no introduction as one of the most celebrated and coveted sites in westside Paso Robles. Here, we source fruit from the crown of Block 1, which always delivers world-class fruit with its own distinct signatures. The 2022 vintage opens with brambly aromas of cherry, plum and boysenberry. Luscious dark fruits expand on the palate with suggestions of berry pie and toasty spices. Full-bodied textures and bold tannins promise that this wine will hold its own for years to come—but then again, why not enjoy it today?
Cabernet Sauvignon
This special 2022 vintage selection comes from Armory Vineyard, where grower Will John has taken on the daredevil task of dry-farming Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the mountainous westside Adelaida District. The nose is flush with violets, cherry, plum and tobacco leaf. A smooth, silky mouthfeel delivers vivid red fruits with accents of black cherry. The finish is marked by energy and firmness, a lingering ode to Armory Vineyard’s unique terroir. This is a wine that will keep you thinking—and drinking—deep into the night.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Parrish Vineyard has been a mainstay in our portfolio for many years and never fails to deliver extraordinary wines. Grower David Parrish has farming in his blood, as his grandfather planted grapes in this area more than 90 years ago. The 2022 vintage delights the senses with aromas of raspberry, dark cherry and juicy white peach. The palate is long, ripe and layered with flavors of black plum, cedar, clove spice and vanilla. Bright textures finish with fullness and depth. Yet another eye-opening vintage from this MFN original.
