Neighborhood Charities
A good neighbor gives back, and My Favorite Neighbor is no exception. As a good steward of our neighborhood, it is important that we are actively involved in giving back to community, the environment and each other. We believe this shouldn’t be the exception, but the rule in how we live our lives every day. We encourage our neighborhood to join is in their own communities to make things better.
MUST! Charities Generates $1.3M at Wine Industry Party with a Purpose
We recently hosted a Must! Charities party in the MFN neighborhood welcoming friends, neighbors, and guests to join us in raising money to benefit this amazing charitable organization. We couldn’t be more pleased as the night’s auction raised over 1.3 million dollars, putting it as one of the top fundraisers of the year in all the U.S. It’s amazing what even a small neighborhood can do when they come together for good.
Wine industry and business leaders from all over the country came together at Must! The inaugural party with a PURPOSE has positioned itself to be in the top 15 grossing wine auctions in all the United States for 2021.
The overwhelming success of the event is in part to how it originated organically from small vintners who harnessed the power of allocation lists. PURPOSE was an ambition of Eric Jensen, owner of Booker Wine and a founding member of Must! Charities.
Referred to as “the best damn party Paso has ever seen”, PURPOSE was more than fine dining, luxurious auction lots, and festive live performances (although there was plenty of that). The purpose was to harness the power of collective giving to raise the remaining funds needed to open doors on a brand new $3.2M state of the art Boys and Girls Club in Paso Robles. Mission accomplished.
