David Parrish has farming in his blood. His grandfather planted grapes in the area over 90 years ago and David always knew he wanted to follow suit. Studious and scientific when it comes to viticulture, he takes his time carefully mapping out every detail of a vineyard before planting it. Both of his Adelaida District and Templeton Gap sites have extremely diverse soil conditions and David maximizes their potential with cutting edge vineyard and plant advancements. This level of detail and pursuit of perfection make his fruit a cornerstone of My Favorite Neighbor.
This hedonistic behemoth flexes its muscle yet somehow remains playful and light on its feet. The bouquet features plum, vanilla, baking spice and white flowers. On the palate black cherry fruits integrate seamlessly with the espresso, toffee, and dark chocolate flavors. A signature of the Parrish vineyard, this wine features big firm tannins and a balanced structure. Less than 100 cases were produced of 2019 Parrish.
